Yesterday's blog of the songs near the seashore once again attracted more than 2000 visitors, this gave me encouragement to search songs picturized on a boat or a cruise.
You would be surprised to note that Boat songs were very popular in the 50s and 60s. Whether it was a necessity due to the lyrics or the situation in the film or just to provide a scenic relief to the viewers, a boat has featured in many songs in our movies.
The first boat song in my list is from the 1948 film Nadiya Ke Paar where Dilip Kumar and Kamini Kaushal are singing the song "More raja ho le chal nadiya ke paar" sung by Mohammad Rafi and Lalita Deolkar
